Riyad Karim is an experienced business developer who has been working at the intersection of healthcare and technology for more than 15 years. He worked for/with pharma (AstraZeneca), medical device and health tech companies (Baxter Healthcare, Philips) in account management, market access, consulting and project management roles (Across Health NV, Health iQ). For over five years he served as a National Health Service (NHS) manager, adviser and a non-executive director.
Riyad's unique expertise and tenure working in pharma, payer, patient, and provider roles is underpinned by scientific credentials and enhanced by an array of professional memberships. Riyad is a specialist in understanding and navigating the payer landscapes of the UK and the EU. His payer, industry and consultancy perspectives help him to deeply understand client needs, challenges, objectives, and potential solutions. This in turn cultivates sustainable working relationships based on mutual trust, integrity and respect.
